  This time, I came to Pingshan, Shenzhen to attend an industry exchange conference. I specifically chose Pingshan Guest House (BYD Hexagon Building Branch), Shenzhen, which is only an 8-minute walk from Pingshan High speed Railway Station. Originally, I only wanted to catch the high-speed railway without rushing to take a taxi. However, this accommodation experience directly refreshed my understanding of "hotels next to high-speed railway stations" - there was no expected traffic noise or rush, but instead I gained a relaxed and comfortable stay experience throughout the entire journey.
  As soon as I checked in, I let go of the exhaustion of the journey. The front desk didn't have a mechanized process and language. After checking the information, the receptionist took the initiative to ask me if I wanted to arrange a room near the inner courtyard: "Although the room near the street can enjoy the night view of Pingshan Avenue, the inner courtyard faces the small garden, which is quiet and more fragrant to sleep in at night." I picked up the room card and walked towards the room. The thick velvet carpet in the hallway completely eliminated the sound of footsteps, and the warm yellow wall lights extended along the light wood colored wall, completely lacking the cold and spacious feeling of modern express hotels. Even the air was filled with a faint aroma of white tea.
  The luxurious twin room I stayed in felt thoughtful when I pushed open the door. The 30 square meter space had no redundant internet celebrity decorations, and every detail stepped on the comfort point of the accommodation. The distance between the two 1.35-meter beds is particularly wide, without any discomfort caused by turning around and bumping. The bedding is made of fluffy yet supportive cotton and linen, and the pillows are specially divided into buckwheat hard pillows and down soft pillows. As someone who knows beds all year round, I can completely relax after lying down for less than ten minutes. There are independent lighting control panels installed on both sides of the headboard, with three adjustable brightness levels. The darkest level can be turned on at night without waking up colleagues. The USB and Type-C dual interfaces are directly embedded on the headboard, without having to pull the charging cable around half of the bed to find a socket.
  The leisure area by the window is the finishing touch of the entire room. The solid wood desk facing the window is just right for a laptop, and you won't feel sore after organizing meeting materials for a long time. There is a hidden Ethernet interface on the side of the desktop, paired with an independent eye protection desk lamp, and the light covers the entire table, so even the reflection won't shake your eyes on the screen. There is a soft pack single sofa next to the desk, and you can see the inner courtyard garden downstairs from it. The triangular plum blossoms climb all over the corridor, and the fountain splashes fine water, completely forgetting that you are only a few hundred meters away from the high-speed railway station.
  The experience in the bathroom area exceeded expectations. The independent shower room has a non slip groove floor, so there is no need to worry about slipping when wet. The water flow of the top spray and handheld showerhead is surprisingly stable, and it only takes 3 seconds to switch from cold water to suitable hot water, without the problem of sudden cold and hot changes commonly seen in old hotels. The counter top of the wash basin is spacious enough to spread all skin care products. The mirror has anti fog treatment, so you don't have to stand there and wait for half a day to see clearly after taking a bath. The free toiletries are light citrus fragrance, completely free of the pungent industrial essence flavor.
  During the two nights I stayed, I hardly heard any external noise, even if there was a high-speed train passing by late at night. The room was so quiet that I could only hear the chirping of insects outside the window. The desk by the window is spacious enough to spread out three project materials, and the nearby socket has specially reserved Type-C and USB dual interfaces, so there is no need to pull the charging cable around half of the room. What surprised me the most was the bedding. The fluffy cotton quilt was soft and didn't collapse, and the pillows were available in both soft and hard versions. As someone who knows how to sleep, I can completely relax within ten minutes of lying down, without the problem of tossing and turning during business trips and not being able to fall asleep.
  The hotel's facilities are much more diverse than I expected. In the evening after discussing the project, I had planned to go back to my room to swipe my phone. Walking deeper down the hallway, I unexpectedly stumbled upon the chess and card room and multi-function hall hidden in the hotel. A few local guests were gathered in the chess and card room playing mahjong, and laughter drifted out through the door, filled with relaxed fireworks. I walked around to the small courtyard of the hotel, and the triangular plum blossoms covered the corridor. The evening breeze was wrapped in the unique aroma of green plants in Shenzhen, and I couldn't hear the traffic noise near the high-speed railway station at all. Even the wind slowed down my steps.
  The next day, I got up early to have breakfast. There was no assembly line for simple business meals. The Century egg and lean meat Congee was boiled thick. The local rice noodles were served as soon as they were steamed. The aroma of soy sauce was wrapped in the rice fragrance and warmed my stomach. The restaurant lady saw that I was a stranger and even handed me a small plate of pickled radish, saying, "Are you on a business trip to Pingshan? Try this. We marinated it locally and it's very satisfying
